The Admissions Process


1 hour interview with parent(s) or guardian(s). Academic and educational records should be brought to this interview. Records include grade reports, SOLs, psychological and educational testing, and scores from PSATs, SATs and/or SSATs.

1 hour interview with the student

2 hours of assessment using testing instruments tailored to the student, including a survey of academic, social, athletic, extracurricular and career interests and a questionnaire that measures individual strengths. Assessment tools that measure personality traits will be selected, based on individual needs. These tools are available only to clinical psychologists.

1 hour feedback session with the student and parent(s) or guardian(s) will focus on identifying the best college match categories.

1 hour of brainstorming ideas for the essays and personal statements. The discussion will incorporate information gained from the assessment and personal strengths questionnaire.

(optional) 1 hour interviewing practice with a focus on personal strengths.

(optional) Participation in the self care program.


The six hour basic package is $900. Additional hours are billed at $150 per hour.
